A pioneer in web development and a high end database architecture and complex system integrations specialist that has no limits when it comes to make the impossible happen. Coming from a family with deep roots in surfing, Gonçalo combines vast management experience in travel tech, creative thinking and board industry passion and knowledge. He architected and works the system with one goal in mind: to Make the Difference. When it’s pumping, which is often here, you’ll find him anywhere along the coast.

Rene is deeply focussed on building products that tackle real problems and help users get their jobs done. He has held Product roles in large and small companies in various industries in the UK. As a Sport Scientist by education, Rene loves all sports and has roots in Windsurfing. When not working, Rene teaches others about innovation methodologies, their tools and techniques in workshops, his meetup group and as a mentor in various startup acceleration programmes in Lisbon.

Renato is our representative from across the Atlantic. A systems engineer that took over Shaperbuddy front-end development, extending the limits of java scripting to improve our users interaction experience.

Pedro trimmed his first green wave in 1993 and did his first website still in the 20th Century on a Pentium 133mhz. Ever since, technology and surf have been a great part of Pedro´s life. His skills go from web design to back-end development and cutbacks to off-the-lips.

With some board industry design work under his belt, Gil is a surfer and board lover with deep knowledge of what’s trending in this industry. He approaches design with a simplicity that works either in brand website creations or interface development.

Rui recently joined our team bringing top notch back-end expertise. He was raised by the ocean and couldn’t work or live far from it. You’ll probably find him by the sea after coding complex integrations all day.

António is a PHP backend developer that loves making complex ideas come true. He enjoys selecting the best technology, think the algorithm and combine those two into beautiful code. He’s also a DIY addicted mastering home automation among robot assembly…

Natalia has a strong customer focus and loves to work with people. She has a wealth of experience as a Consultant and Business Analyst. When not in the Shaperbuddy office, Natalia can be found taking pictures of waves and surfers to fulfil her passion for photography and water sports. As a devoted explorer, she craves chances to learn about other cultures and to experience different customs and views to shape her perspective of the world.
